Are you prepared for success?
I once read a book that said “success happens when opportunity meets preparation,” and I always remembered how profound those words were to me. I constantly read about “success”, and whenever I come across many of my friends, we’ll constantly discuss this very topic. This topic is as true as the sky being blue. If you’re prepared, then what it destined will be.
You can’t speak about “success” but then act as if you don’t want to create a welcoming environment, so that it can enter your life. Speaking can just be words, it’s similar to the person who keeps on “speaking,” and “talking” about how they’re going to go to the gym, but never do. They talk the talk, but never really walk the walk, and use their actions to back up their words.
The way that you carry yourself will speak volumes, and can possibly be the deciding factor, so you have to believe that you’re already successful. Once you can see where you want to be in your mind, then you’ll make it your goal to act like the person that you see in your mind.
Never let money be your only motivation, always remember that money can’t come before passion because if you’re not truly passionate about what you’re doing, then it will become slave work.
- Dress the part.
Dress the part: Being the person dressed in the position that you see yourself in is what will set you apart from those who aren’t there. If you want to be an executive, then you have to figure out how executives dress, and carry yourself in that manner.
2. Speak the part.
Speak the part: Speaking the part is where you’ll begin to verbalize being the person who you want to become. Study the successful people in the field that you’re trying to attain success in, and see how they speak. Remember you have to make sure you speak the part well, so that your peers, and others will be able to take you serious. You wouldn’t want to be taken for a joke.
3. Money shouldn’t control you.
Money shouldn’t control you: Never let money be your only motivation, always remember that money can’t come before passion because if you’re not truly passionate about what you’re doing, then it will become slave work. You’ll hate every piece of what you’re doing, and trust me, you wouldn’t want to hate something that you spent valuable time creating. You should take yourself serious, and make it known that you aren’t a joke, and so no one will be allowed to take you for a joke.
Keep your heart in it, and you will be prepared of the opportunity that can just be one step away. Make you that when it comes come by knocking like a visitor to your house would, you better run to the door, open it up and then say “come on in!”
Your level of preparedness will be the key that you’ll have to open up all doors that you want to enter!
