What's the power in a word?
The great poet William Blake in the poem Jerusalem The Emanation of the Great Albion says “What have I said? What have I done? O all-powerful Human Words!”
This poem is a classic and it speaks of the power of the words that humans hold.
After all, in John 1:1 it does speak about how in the beginning there was the word and the word was the word of GOD.
This shows us the power that the word has.
Then if we look at Isaiah 55:11 it says “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
So when we go back to William Blake and we see him say “What have I said? What have I done? O all powerful human words!”
We know this is an inner conversation that a person must have with themselves.
Take a minute and examine your life. Look at every aspect of it, and now examine your conversations.
Think about the daily conversations that you have with others.
What do those conversations consist of?
Are those conversations energizing, filled with promise and speak of glory and accomplishment?
Or are they filled with hopelessness, despondency and a sheer dose of lack and nothing but an ill view of the world?
Then think about the inner conversations that you have with yourself every minute of the day.
What I want you to do now is honestly put everything together, and internally ask yourself if you are proud of the outcome of those words.
The outcome are the conditions that are now wrapped around your life.
Are you fully expressed in all four areas.
Four is the Hebrew number for creation.
The four areas that create a person’s life are “Love,” “Health, “Wealth,” and “Expression.”
Every person wants loving relationships with others, whether it’s business wise, at work or in a romantic setting, love is a fundamental asset in the creation of all things.
In fact GOD is love because love permeates within every being.
Even if a person is filled with hate like a dictator like a Hitler or Stalin.
They might proclaim to hate another, so they go commit genocide because that’s what they “Love” to do.
Love is in the mind of all, from holy men to the con-artist.
Love is the function that moves man and since GOD lives in all, whether they’re righteous or wicked ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation nothing is restricted.
Health is what every person wants, no one wants to live in poor health because without your health no matter how much money you may possess you are still a shell barely holding on.
Wealth is of GOD, just look at the stars in the sky.
The clouds in the sky.
The fish in the sea.
The grass on a field.
I AM sure you will see an abundant flow. You will see a world where there is an endless supply.
GOD always creates abundance, it’s man with his limited mind that uses his own thinking and words to create lack.
Expression is how one carries themselves and gets to live their life. No one wants to have another impose on their liberty and prevent them from being who they really are.
You are being creative when you fully express yourself the way that you desire, and live as you see fit for yourself as long as you aren’t hurting another.
If you can become fully balanced in these areas, then you are truly in the presence of your “I AM.”
This truly brings the William Blake question to life when he says “What have I said? What have I done? O all-powerful Human Words!”
So what are your words creating?
Think about it.
