The harm that we encounter is harm that can come in many ways, and defeat us on many fronts.

This harm can be by others hurting us, or by individuals feeling like the world is out to get them. In both instances a person “felt” like something or someone was out to harm them.

The outer thief appears only after the inner is given the permission to roam.

You might look at that statement with a perplexed eye and if you don’t see the meaning in the midst of the statement then I know it might lose its true meaning.

So let me reiterate the statement in various parts, and then you will certainly see the meaning if you haven’t first saw it from the beginning.

“The outer thief appears only after the inner is given the permission to roam.”

The outer thief is whatever or whoever in the “outside world” that you feel is robbing you, or preventing you from truly being free in whatever way you may define “freedom” as.

The true story is, aren’t we robbing ourselves when we believe this?

Aren’t we stealing our own vitality and giving our true power to a force beyond ourselves and making a GOD of another when that infinite resides in all, and along with another; you and them make up the eternal body of GOD.

As humanity will continue to exist and all that is in the planet lives for mankind’s exploration, saving or even man’s greed.

Everything depends on the person and how they go about seeing themselves and the world around them.

This is why the outer thief will only appear when you have given the inner thief the permission to roam.

If you allow yourself to sink in thoughts, and feelings that are detrimental to your growth then you’re only making yourself cease to exist as a being with the inner power to change your outer.

This falls along the lines of folks who will pray to an outside GOD unaware that they have convinced themselves within their imagination to believe in a GOD somewhere in the sky that watches them and punishes them.

They have crafted their mind in the shape of what tradition says, and sometimes tradition and logic aren’t the best of friends.

It’s cool if the tradition is a part of you and it makes up your cultural identity, but the minute the tradition doesn’t go with the current times then you are stuck and will never give yourself growth.

So if your tradition calls for you to not drive a car at a certain time or be in the house at a certain time, or if it calls for you to not eat all day, or sprinkle ashes on your forehead because you feel by doing so it’s devotion to GOD, well that’s perfectly fine but if you feel it’s getting in the way of your growth then it might be time for you to reevaluate the said tradition, and see the role that it plays in your current life.

“And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:  Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:”

1 Peter 1:17-19

The father which is the inner being that lives in us, you might feel this as a gut feeling, a thought or some “aha” moment, but you know this feeling. Whenever you go against it, something will always go wrong.

When you listen to this voice it’s always on your side.

Man needs to learn to trust this voice, and allow it to solve his problems because it judges you according to your work and it doesn’t care of your race, sexual orientation, or your tradition.

Your work is how you feel and act towards yourself and the world around you, and “so it is done unto you according to your  beliefs.”

When you “sojourn here in fear” what you’re doing is giving reverence to your current state in seeing its role in getting you to the next which will all culminate in you fulfilling an overall goal.

Sojourn means “To stay somewhere temporarily,” and fear is a corrupted translation of the Hebrew word Yirah which means reverence or honor.

In English it translates to fear.

You stay in many mental states temporarily but they all shape the overall narrative of your very being..

When a person isn’t aware of this they risk falling for the traditions of our fathers meaning from young we are programmed by traditions that were given to us, and although many will have their tradition, they’ll pray to an outside GOD and then hold vain conversations that are filled with so much limited belief they will always stunt their own growth.

The corruptible things like greed, jealousy and a lack of self-awareness are what can turn a person into a rotten individual only identifying the sores and blemishes of life.

They are quick to highlight the imperfection.

If they knew the precious Blood of Christ then they would know this is only a parable showing that the mind when aware to Christ the enlightened reason that can bring to life any individual despite their culture, is what every human that is out for understanding in life wants.

Take this into consideration and think about it..

What you want is to be a “Conqueror” not the one that is conquered.
